How to purchase a Vicroads Certificate

Vicroads certificates provide information on approved road proposals requiring any portion of the described property. This certificate only covers road proposals involving VicRoad. It does not cover road proposals under the control of Local Government authorities.

You can purchase a Vicroads certificate on Landchecker under the Document Searches page.

1. Click on Document Searches in the navigation bar

2. Click on Certificate Searches

3. Select State - VIC. Then select Next

4. Select the property identifier you wish to Search By, then select Search. Property Identifiers include;

Address

Council Number

Crown Description

Lot/Plan

SPI

Volume/Folio

5. Enter the job reference if applicable

6. Scroll down to the Certificates section

7. Select the tickbox next to Vicroads

Note: It is a requirement for a Copy of Plan to be purchased with a Vicroads Certificate. These documents will automatically be added to your cart. Read this guide on how to purchase a copy of plan in Victoria.

8. Click Add selected items to shopping cart

9. Select your shopping cart icon in the navigation bar

11. Select View Cart to review your order or select Purchase to proceed to checkout

12. If you chose the View Cart option, double-check your order and click Go To Checkout

13. Once you are happy with your selection for Delivery method and Payment method, click Buy

14. This certificate has an est. delivery time of 12 days from purchase. If your order is not delivered on time, read this article on how to follow-up on documents that are past the estimated delivery date.
