How to order a Plan Search in ACT

Order a deposited plan or sublease plan for properties in ACT through Landchecker. A deposited plan will provide you with the measurements and boundaries of land areas. Sublease plans will provide the area of land or property leased by the registered proprietor of a crown lease to another individual or company.

There are two ways to order a deposited plan; directly from the Map and via the Document Searches page under Standard Searches. Sublease plans can only be ordered via the Document Searches page under Standard Searches.

Ordering a Deposited Plan on the Map

1. If you want to order a deposited plan from the Landchecker map, first search for a property on the address search bar located at the top left corner of your screen.

2. Go to the Documents tab on the right-hand side panel. Add a Job Reference, tick the checkbox next to ACT Deposited Plan, and click “Add selected items to shopping cart”.

3. Select the shopping cart icon in the navigation bar. You can choose View Cart to review your order or Purchase to quickly buy the document.

Ordering a Deposited Plan through Document Searches page under Standard Searches

If you have the plan number, you can place an order for a deposited plan through the Document Searches page under Standard Searches.

1. Click on Document Searches in the navigation bar and select the Standard Searches tab. Select State - ACT and click Next.

2. Enter a Job Reference and click on ACT Deposited Plan under the list of Products displayed on your screen. Add the plan number and click Add to Cart.

NOTE: When adding the plan number, make sure to remove the prefix (e.g. DP) and only add the numbers.

3. After clicking the Add To Cart button, select the shopping cart icon in the navigation bar. You can choose View Cart to review your order or Purchase to quickly buy the document. If you choose View Cart, double-check your order and click Go To Checkout.

4. Once you are happy with your selection for Delivery Method and Payment Method, click Buy.

Delivery Methods:

Send a separate email for each order item - best for orders with documents that have varying estimated times of delivery.

Send one email including all order items - get one email with all documents attached once they have all been fulfilled.

Send no email and notify me for each order item with an in-app notification - you won’t receive an email and can download your fulfilled documents from your Order Manager.

Ordering Subplease Plans through the Document Searches page under Standard Searches

If you have the plan number of the property, you can order Sublease Plans directly from the Standard Searches page. This will save you time, as you will not need to look up the property address or parcel details on the map.

1. Click on Document Searches in the navigation bar and select the Standard Searches tab. Select State - ACT and click Next.

2. Enter the Job Reference. Then under the list of Products, click on ACT Sublease Plan and add the Plan Number.

NOTE: Make sure to add the numbers only, no prefix such as DP.

After entering the Plan Number, click Add to Cart and select the shopping cart icon in the navigation bar to checkout and purchase the sublease plan.
