How to mark locations using Map Pin Tool
The Map Pin Tool lets you mark locations based on their specific purpose. You can use this feature to highlight sites of interest, mark nearby local amenities or flag properties for sale within a designated area.
Upgrade to Advanced to Add Pin Markers on the Map
Add a map pin
1. Search for a property on the address search bar
2. Click the Map Pin Tool icon on the right-hand side Toolbar
3. Click on the map where you want to place the pin
4. Drag and drop the pin to move it to a different location, if needed.
You can combine this feature with the residential Comparable Sales feature and the different Planning Layers on the left-hand side panel to speed up site planning and assessments.
Customise pin markers
Once you've added a pin on the map, you can customise the marker and colour.
1. Choose a custom pin marker on the left-hand side Tools panel.
You can choose from the default map pin designs or select an icon specifically designed for establishments, transportation, construction or nature.
2. Click the Fill section to change the colour of your map pin
Rename a map pin
1. Hover over the map pin layer you want to rename
2. Click the three-dot menu beside the map pin name
3. Select Rename
4. Type the new map pin name
5. Press enter on your keyboard to save the changes
Delete a map pin
1. Hover over the map pin layer in the left-hand side Tools Panel where the pin is located
2. Click the three-dot menu beside the map pin name
3. Select Delete to remove the pin
Bulk delete pin markers
If you're on an Advanced or Enterprise plan, you have access to bulk delete the pins you've added on the map.
1. Click the three-dot menu and select Bulk Selection
2. Tick the checkbox beside the pin marker you want to delete
There's also an option to Select All if you want to delete all the markers you added on the map.
3. Click the three-dot menu again and select Delete
