Final Search Statement

Final search statements check for any unregistered search or registered dealings that have occurred on the title for the past 125 days. This includes any change to the title and proprietors, address, mortgage details and/or easements.

What Insights Will the Final Search Statement Provide?

This document will show two sections, the activity in the last 125 days and administrative notices. If the certificate of title is an eCT, the name of the eCT control will appear under administrative notices.

Who Needs a Final Search Statement?

If you’re a buyer or real estate agent, you might need a final search statement before attending a settlement to confirm any recent activity on the certificate of title (CT).
