Update on the Estimated Turnaround Time (ETAT) to Property Certificates in Victoria

The following update pertains to recent changes and important updates Landata, operated by SERV, will implement regarding the estimated turnaround time (ETAT) for some property information certificates in Victoria, effective 6pm on Tuesday the 27th of May.

SERV offers an Estimated Turnaround Time (ETAT) when it comes to the delivery of certificates. The days listed next to each certificate in the ordering process indicate the estimated amount of business days \the issuing authority is expected to deliver the certificate. SERV has made the decision to move towards a model of publishing the estimated delivery time, instead of the delivery time provided by each authority.

The ETAT consists of business days, which, for the avoidance of doubt, excludes; Weekends, Public Holidays recognised in the State of Victoria and any other day that SERV or the Issuing Authority is closed.

SERV will be updating these changes to the ETAT for each certificate at 6pm on Tuesday the 27th of May.

With this update, around half of the certificates listed in the sheet will see a reduction in the ETAT. This means that the ETAT for the average order will be reduced by three business days.

Simply click the button above to access a spreadsheet showing the updated certificates ETAT. Please note that the sheet only contains certificates that are either increasing or decreasing their ETAT. If a certificate is not listed, its ETAT is not changing.

Section 151 Owners Corporation certificates are not being updated at this stage, a separate update on these certificates will be provided towards the middle of June.
